Travel Translator 6L translates on your phone. What you type is not sent to us, and we hold no account, no profile and no record of anything you translate.

These pages are static. There are no cookies, no analytics and no tracking scripts, so there is no cookie banner to dismiss.
The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes your IP address in order to deliver the page and to protect the site from attack. Fonts are served by Google Fonts, which receives the request in order to return the font files.
If you email us, we keep that correspondence for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry, and no longer.
Translation runs on the device, using Google ML Kit's on-device models. The text you type or dictate is translated on your phone and is never transmitted to us. We cannot see it, and we do not store it anywhere.
The app can take speech instead of typing. The microphone is used only while you are holding or have started the dictation control, never in the background.
Speech is converted to text by the speech-recognition service built into your Android device, which on most phones is provided by Google. Depending on your device and its settings, that service may process the audio on the phone or send it to Google to be transcribed. That processing is governed by Google's own privacy policy and your device settings, not by us. We never receive, hear or store the audio — the app is handed back only the resulting text, which then stays on the phone.
If you never use dictation, the app never opens the microphone. You can refuse or withdraw the microphone permission at any time in Android settings, and the rest of the app carries on working.
Translation packs are downloaded from Google's servers by ML Kit when you add a language. Google receives the download request and your IP address, as it would for any download. The packs are then stored on your phone and translation works with no connection at all.
Payments are handled entirely by Google Play. We never see your card details, your name or your billing address. Google gives us aggregated sales and payout reports, not identifiable customers.
To confirm what you have bought and to restore it when you change phone, purchase receipts are validated through RevenueCat, which receives a randomly generated application user identifier and the receipt issued by Google Play. That identifier is not linked to your name or email.
The length of your free trial, which plan you own and which languages you have chosen are kept in the app's own storage on your device. Deleting the app removes them; your purchase itself stays attached to your Google account and can be restored.
We do not sell or share personal data, and nothing in the app profiles you or makes automated decisions about you.
Where we do process personal data — replying to your email, or the limited technical processing needed to serve this website and validate a purchase — we rely on the performance of a contract with you, and on our legitimate interest in running a secure service and honouring purchases. Microphone access is used only with your explicit permission, given through Android's own permission prompt.

Travel Translator 6L is a general-audience travel tool. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone.
If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with a new date at the top. Material changes affecting the app will also be described in the release notes on Google Play.
